Picture update
This past week has been a busy one! It included hair cuts, Father's Day celebrations, keeping a few extra kiddos, and preparing for the beach...whew! I'll let the pictures do the talking...

Summer girl
Summer outfits and dresses have always been my favorites for baby girls. This summer I have my own doll baby to dress up, and boy am I taking advantage! The last week in outfits...
Water babies
Our recently warmer weather has made way for some great opportunities to enjoy splashing in the water outside. The kids don't seem to mind too much ;)

Brother sister love
When I was pregnant with savannah, I prayed that our children would share a close, loving bond like only siblings can and that I would be able to help foster that relationship between them. I feel like The Lord heard my prayers and answered them because these babies have the sweetest, most loving relationship I can possibly imagine! I love watching them together! He is compassionate and sympathetic when she cries, he shares his dog and blanket (his most prized possessions) with her, and she is more than memorized to lay beside him and touch his face and play with him. I couldn't have asked for 2 more precious children!

Retreat
Thanks to my mom for so graciously keeping our babies, Sean and I were able to get away for a retreat this past weekend. I don't think we have ever enjoyed a trip anymore than that one and we were only 20 minutes away! We went to The Cove and were able to hear our beloved pastor from our church in Charlotte. We spent two nights and did not leave the entire time. We enjoyed some wonderful, refreshing and very needed messages about getting back on spiritual track, spent time with some wonderful people in discussion groups, went on a walk through the most beautiful, peaceful woods I have ever been in, and had probably the most amazing meals of our entire life. It's definitely a "go back ASAP" kind of trip ;) I am so thankful for being able to have such a relaxing, refreshing getaway and know that our babies were in wonderful hands!
I had to take a picture of one of the menus just so I could remember how amazing they were! Every meal had a menu this large!
Going to the Billy Graham Training Center was extra special for us because our sweet boy is named after him. Quite large shoes to full, huh?! We went on a hike and saw this sign...
We asked the staff who Porter was or what the street/trail was named after and all they knew was that it was a family member.
Yes, we have already downloaded the calendar of events for the rest of the year in hopes that we'll be able to return :)
