Last minute hotel trip

And by last minute, I mean it as literally as possible! We packed for us and the kids and dropped off Lola at the boarders in all of an hour and headed to Charlotte for a few days to be with Sean while he worked. Ok, so he did the working and we did the playing. But someone has to do the hard stuff, right?!

Ok. All this for 4 days. And we used everything we took. No joke.

Entertaining three very small children in a hotel room for multiple days can be challenging, but thankfully our kids love hotels as much as I do! They thought it was awesome!

And Sullivan thought it was the perfect time to start pulling up on his own. I definitely wasn't quite ready for this one!

Good thing he is too young to remember sleeping in a hotel bathroom!

Sweet Treats

On Saturday we got to spend a wonderful day with Jeremy, Becca and their sweet boys. It was so fun! The kids had a great time playing together and we loved having the day to catch up! We finished the day with a sweet treat for everyone.

Creek fun at Fletcher Park

Tonight was the perfect weather to enjoy some time outside. So we packed a picnic and headed down the road to the park. The big kids surprised us with how much they loved splashing in the creek and getting dirty! They threw rocks, played in the water and explored with Daddy. Sullivan even enjoyed splashing around and playing in the dirt.

And a picnic of pb&j, fruit and pretzels was a win for mommy too, no dishes ;)

After all that playing in the creek, they still had energy to burn so we hit the park. I love the simplicity of watching our little ones play and have fun.
