Corn maze and donuts

Today was the perfect fall day. Great weather. Fall corn maze and pumpkins. Donuts. Sweet family time. It doesn't get any better than that! Sean and I took Ciara, Porter, and Savannah and went to Elida Home corn maze. There were long slides, a corn pit, tractor rides, hayrides, pumpkins, spider climbing net, corn mazes, a Rody pit, and lots of places to run. The kids all had so much fun! And how could I forget...we had to start the day at Krispy Kreme. Yumm!!

While Porter and Ciara were going on tractor rides, Sean and I looked down to see this sweet baby girl snuggling up to Daddy's leg. Daddy's girl anyone?!

And no one tell Porter, but Sissy loves his water bottle too ;)

Yes, my child went into the Rody put when no other kids were in there and lined up all of the Rodys. I know. Yes, I have THAT child ;)

And then he met a girlfriend. And what does every cowboy offer his girlfriend?! Well, straw, of course. She seemed to like it.

This was the best I could do for posed shot. No one is crying, I'll take it!

And because you can't leave a corn maze without a hot dog lunch...

Fall cookies and sweet memories

My favorite thing about Porter right now is that he wants to "help" me with everything I do. As soon as he sees me getting baking supplies out of the pantry, I immediately hear, "Mommy, me make it with you?". And my favorite thing about the first week of Fall is baking. So, what better than baking cookies with my sweet boy?! And bonus, a color mixing lesson made for some great teachable moments. Making sweet memories with this precious family of mine is my favorite thing to do these days ;)

(Yes, he tried every icing. Several times.)

(I mean this face, could it get any cuter?!)

(Daddy even got it on the baking fun)

(Yes, Woody the cowboy tried icing also)

(Sweetie pie girl wasn't feeling the "baking fun" today, so this was as close as the camera was able to get to her)

(This picture will be forever in my mind.)

(Ok, bakery quality? Probably not. But we sure had fun and they tasted fall-tastic ;)

Btw...our house also got pumpkins, fall table flowers, a mum for the front porch, and a Fall wreath on the door today. We may be passing some serious sickness around here, but we still had a wonderful Fall day!

Nanas house

What else is a Nana's (my grandmother) house for?? Well biscuit making and Popsicle eating, of course! I'm so thankful that we are close enough to go for a dinner time visit...

All things boy

Lately, Porter has become even more adventurous, "typical boy-ish", silly and imaginative. I love hearing the conversations he has with his toys when he thinks no one is listening. He has quite the imagination. He still isn't overly into getting dirty, but we will get there I'm sure ;)

(What good is a box if you can't climb in it?!)

(Horses are his obsession and they go everywhere with us. They even oversee our meals)

(Every little boys' dream...a huge mountain of rocks)

("Me wookin these huge tires" monster truck shows, here we come!)

I know I'm partial, but I adore this sweet, silly boy!
