Skytop Apple Orchard

We got to spend the perfect Fall day (still 78 degrees, but still great weather!) at Skytop Apple Orchard with some sweet friends from Charlotte. Our 2 and their 4 made for 6 very excited children ready to pick apples. They had so much fun climbing in the trees and searching for apples. We had a picnic lunch, complete with some amazing apple donuts! And finished the day by letting the kids run off their energy at the play ground. The adults were quite wiped out after having pushed strollers and buckets of apples up the hills, but they seemed to still have plenty of energy left! The kids had a great time and the grown ups enjoyed some time to catch up. I'm so thankful for friends, sweet kids, and these beautiful mountains to enjoy some nice fall scenery. 

And I think we'll have enough apple baby food to last for a while ;)
