Beach Days 1-2, Mothers Day

I can't think of a better way to spend Mothers Day than on the beach with my babies and my own mama. What a blessed, fun day! We got lucky enough that vacation and Mothers Day overlapped this year and it has been such a fun day! We got down to "our" beach house yesterday and got all settled in and went to dinner. Today, we went to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast, spent the morning/afternoon on the beach, had lunch and naps, went to the pool, grilled out and finished the day with a game night. I think it was almost a perfect day! The kids loved the beach so much more this year. Savannah was a wil woman and roamed the beach like she owned the place! The water was freezing and she loved it anyways! She made several friends and plenty of sand "castles" (umm, blobs). Porter had fun making sand castles and digging. He wasn't much into the water this time. He stuck to his neat and tidy personality. What great memories! And we still have 6 more days, yahoo!!! 

Getting ready to leave, stopped at Wendy's for lunch, napped in the car and arrived at the beach safely!
