tales of our imperfect, but thankfully grace-filled, journey through life together

Savannah Joy at 19 months
I could probably write a 6 page long blog about Savannah at 19 months. This girl is at least 5 different people packed into one tiny body. She is hilarious and beautiful and frustrating and opinionated and silly and girly and happy and strong-willed, all at once! She keeps us on our toes. I adore her and wouldn't change one thing about her, but there are days that she seems to bring out my least favorite qualities in myself. We know what she is thinking and feeling at all times. She is a mamas girl to the end. She has become an extremely picky eater while her molars are cutting through. Unless it's cold, soft, something she can do for herself, and what she has in mind, she's not eating it! She is still an excellent sleeper though. 12-13 hours at night and a 2 hour nap. She is so girly about what she wears. She loves to choose her outfits and always wants her hair fixed. She loves to put on shoes, even to stay home. She is so into her baby dolls and pretend play right now. She loves to feed them and hold/rock them. She loves animals as much as Porter and knows just about all of her animal sounds. She seems to be as neat and organized as he is also. She loves to help clean up and put things away. She absolutely hates to be contained in any way. Which means the high chair, car seat, stroller, and restaurants are quite a disaster lately. No joke! She and Porter are still best friends and always want to be together. However, their games are a little rougher lately. They love to wrestle! We adore our little firecracker!
