Apple orchard with Nonni

This week, we had the opportunity to venture out of the house and go visit our favorite apple orchard. Thanks to Nonni's sweet help we were even able to enjoy a picnic. We fed the animals, helped Nonni choose pumpkins, got to pet Lucky (the orchard dog), chose some apples, and enjoyed a picnic complete with apple cider donuts and apple slushies. The kids did really well overall, but any outing with three kids 3 and under can get a little hairy! By the time we got to the picnic, chaotic would be probably the best description. Trying to nurse a baby while wrangling two active children and trying to make them eat lunch is no easy task, even for two adults working together, yikes! I'm so thankful my mom is up for these adventures with us. Thanks, Nonni! It was a perfect fall day at one of our favorite places!
