Breakfast and books

Breakfast is a favorite time around here. A time to talk about what we will do that day. Time for messy hair and pj's. Time to hear about silly dreams from the night before. Many mornings I am too busy to stop and sit down with them, but the I never regret the mornings that I make time to do just that. I love these silly creatures! 

And books. Oh books. I just couldn't even tell you how much we love books around here. All of us! Stories read aloud and time to enjoy a book on our own. The teacher in me is so proud of them every time they choose a book on their own to sit down and enjoy.
